Carnival of Small Business and Startups
A while back, I spoke about Entrepreneurship 101 and all the issues about starting up your own business (is it for you, funding, types of businesses, etc.)
That series of posts has been included in Second Carnival of Small Business and Startups hosted at Logodesign Works.
If you’re looking at running your own business as an option, there are some great posts in this carnival. My favorites are:
“10 Reasons Why I Love Google” at Speed Endurance - If you’ve got a small business or a small team, there are some FREE tools and options at Google Apps that I wasn’t aware of. Pretty cool stuff!
“3 Huge Steps on How to Leap from the Security of a Job to a Home Business” at Write to Right. These are some of the difficult things might be unpleasant, but you must do if you’re going to start your own business.
“You Can Make More Working Less” at Everyday Marketing Ideas talks about one of the most important facets of your own business: focusing your attention on the most valuable tasks.
And, if you lose that focus, Terry Dean tells us “How To Influence Others”. And every small business person needs to influence others in order to make the business work.
Enjoy the carnival and Enjoy the Search!
