NEW PODCAST: (Security) Employment Roundtable
I was a part of an employment roundtable last week and we were talking about the modern job-search for IT Security-related people. But don’t let that stop you from listening.
The podcast ended up being much more about general employment-related issues than it was about security-career-related stuff. Things like how to know you’re ready to leave a job, networking, career management, and such. Really - you can’t miss this.
In the end, it was a really great discussion and I think you should take a listen. Hey - after all - it’s FREE!

Michael Santarcangelo, a security industry professional, coach, and insane triathloner-to-be. He runs Security Catalyst and soon-to-be author of Into The Breach, a book about how to secure your information (corporate, personal, etc.)
Martin McKeay, a security professional (CISSP) who recently figured out what he didn’t want to do and is now looking for a new job. Martin runs The Network Security Blog and regular contributor to the ComputerWorld Blogs.
Michael Murray, a Canadian security professional who realized that the land flowing with milk and honey, wives and work was the United States. He is a part-time blogger at Episteme and has written a great book on finding your career direction called Forget The Parachute, Let Me Fly The Plane.
Ron Vereggan, a former IT-professional who went into coaching / mentoring people on achieving their career and life goals. He particularly helps IT guys who - trust me on this - need it more than most others. He also runs Rapid Success Coaching.
